Hello, you’ve found my website!  After a long hiatus I’ve rebuilt it.  The original site was done entirely in Flash and was part of my final grade for my BFA.  Enough about that though.  Who runs this place?

My name is Lewis McCrary.  I have various nicknames and identities; even more than that Clark Kent guy!  I’m married to a wonderful woman and have two wonderful (extremely energetic!) young boys.

Now I haven’t updated my portfolio in quite some time so things might be a little out of place here and there.  I also decided to build it in WordPress since I’m very familiar with the interface.  I’d hand code the whole thing but playing in WordPress is much more fun.  Besides, I hand code all day at work.  I want a simple and effective way of showing my work and expressing whom I am here.

What I do

I’m a designer of all sorts.  I currently do mostly web design for a local company.  I also do video work, audio work, graphic design, photography and whatever else is required of me.

Interests

My interests are varied.  I love music of all sorts.  I’ve also played guitar for the better part of 20 years now.  It is such an expressive instrument.  I also love games, mostly MMOs but I play my share of console games.  I thought Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was just about the best game I’ve played in the past decade!  I currently play World of Warcraft whenever time permits.  I like to explore and work on obscure quests.  I also help my son with his characters.

The Cosmos

I had to save a paragraph for one of my greatest interests: science.  That’s a little broad so I’ll narrow it down.  Specifically I am infatuated with space sciences (cosmology, astrophysics, etc).  One day I’d love to go back to school and pursue a career in that field.  It’s a huge stretch from my current field but it’s an irresistible force.  I’m also a member of the Planetary Society.  I love to take out my (ok it’s my son’s) telescope and view the night sky!

Lastly

Thanks for stopping by, I do hope to keep this place tidy and up to date.  Ever since finishing up my BFA, I had gotten a little complacent with life.  I have a few years to make up for.  You can also visit my other, other blog over here (it’s mostly science and silly stuff lately).
